Terms and Conditions
PAYMENT TERMS:
The following payment terms will apply for your booking:
A deposit of 25% or one night’s charge (whichever is the greater) is due within 48 hours of your booking being accepted.
The balance of 75% is due 7 days before your stay commences, unless other special arrangements are agreed to at the time of booking confirmation.
Payment of deposit: Once we accept your booking, a deposit must be paid AND received by us in order to secure your booking. Your booking will be confirmed upon receipt by us of the deposit. Failure to pay the deposit in time may result in your booking being cancelled and the suite being made available to others. Should we cancel a booking of yours due to non or late payment of a deposit then any deposit subsequently received from you will be refunded in full.
Late Payments: The balance due must be received on or before the due date. If your payment fails to reach us by the due date we may choose to cancel the booking with or without notice to you, and make your booking available to others. Cancellation charges may apply (see below); however, we will make every endeavour to contact you.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
If you need to cancel your booking please let us know as soon as possible so we may offer the property to others.
Should YOU choose to cancel the booking, the following cancellation charges apply:
Cancellation outside of 7 days before your stay commences, results in a cancellation charge amounting to the deposit paid.
Cancellation within 7 days of the scheduled start of stay, results in a cancellation charge of up to 100% of the total booking charge according to individual circumstances.
Should WE cancel the booking due to YOUR NON-PAYMENT then the cancellation charges stated above apply.
CANCELLATION BY US:
If due to circumstances beyond our control, the property becomes unavailable or unfit for use, we will notify you as soon as possible and refund your money in full.
SECURE YOUR BOOKING:
Bookings can be secured by:
DIRECT CREDITING your deposit to our ANZ account 01 0141 0054686 00 at Huapai/Kumeu, clearly identifying your remittance:
Booking (your name) 'Whispering Tides'.
Or:
Payment with any one of the following Credit Cards by a telephoned arrangement with us at the time of making the booking or directly through 'PayPal'.
Any remaining charges can also be settled through the same arrangements.
NOTE: All credit card payments can only be transacted on a telephoned ‘Prior Approval’ basis or directly through 'PayPal'.
